Project Manager

Job Description: 

DSI Process Systems, a subsidiary of Statco Engineering, has an immediate opening for an experienced Project Manager specializing in sanitary process design build projects to support the continued growth of our process division including brewery, juice, food, personal care and carbonated soft drink. These areas continue to be a large growth division of DSI and the successful candidate must be knowledgeable in sanitary process industry terminology and managing large installation process projects.


This position is based at our Engineering Center in St Louis, MO but does require travel to customer sites in the US and Canada. Candidates should have a Mechanical, Chemical or Environmental Engineering degree and a strong grasp of food, brewing and/or soft drink process design.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Work with the Engineering Department and clients through the build out phase of the project from detailed design through successful startup

  • Manage project budgets

  • Develop and manage project schedules

  • Support and prepare technical specification documents

  • Manage P&ID development


    Job Requirements:


  • Engineering Degree

  • Food, beverage, personal care project management experience in various aspects of engineering and utilities management

  • Ability to self-direct workload is a must!

  • Project Management Profession certification

  • Understand process piping systems layout and routing (Wort, CIP, Filtration, CO2, CO2 Recovery, Air, Water, Steam, Glycol, Ammonia, Sweetener, Package Release)

  • Self-motivation and drive

  • Customer service focused

  • Able to make informed decisions

  • Creative and effective problem solving
